English for Nursing

Designed for sec­ond-lan­guage learn­ers, this course will teach you to com­mu­ni­cate in most rou­tine nurs­ing sit­u­a­tions with rel­a­tive con­fi­dence. You will par­tic­i­pate in inter­ac­tive learn­ing tasks that will help you devel­op new vocab­u­lary relat­ed to the nurs­ing pro­fes­sion, as well as improve your lis­ten­ing and speak­ing skills. You will also engage in role-play sce­nar­ios, inter­act with Cana­di­an nurs­es and oth­er guest speak­ers, and deliv­er a sim­ple pre­sen­ta­tion to a pan­el audience.
