    EXCPE 5385 is offered this fall:

Glob­al logis­tics con­nects crit­i­cal com­po­nents of the sup­ply chain from a product¿s point of ori­gin to its point of con­sump­tion. Phys­i­cal dis­tri­b­u­tion is inex­tri­ca­bly tied with inter­na­tion­al trade, multi­na­tion­al man­u­fac­tur­ing, and sourc­ing of raw mate­ri­als, com­po­nents, and sup­plies. Top­ics in this course will help par­tic­i­pants under­stand the chan­nels of glob­al logis­tics, chal­lenges in man­ag­ing phys­i­cal dis­tri­b­u­tion, INCOTERMS, free trade zones, tar­iffs, secu­ri­ty, hedg­ing, sourc­ing strate­gies, risk, and resilience in inter­na­tion­al trade.

Christian Sivière has worked in the field of international logistics in Europe and in Canada for over 30 years. His import-export consultancy, Solimpex, provides training on the logistics, customs and regulatory aspects of international trade, as well as free trade agreements, supply chain management and related issues. Christian is a subject matter expert and a regular lecturer for professional associations and trade organizations. He writes articles for two industry publications, Supply Professional and Inside Logistics.
