Writing Weeks July 2021

Week-long Creative and Professional Development workshops

Join us July 12–16 and July 19–23, 2021, for Extension’s annual Writing Week. Participate in one or all of our insightful workshops and learn from local professional authors in an interactive online experience!

Each workshop runs Monday through Friday, for a total of 7.5 hours per week. That’s 1.5 hours of instruction, peer review, and professional feedback each day.

    Beyond Workshops

    • Online Open Mic
      Celebrate and share your new writing each Friday at noon.
    • Keynote Speakers
      Each week will feature one or two short noon-hour lectures*, free to workshop participants. Those not registered in a workshop can purchase a ticket for each event separately. Registration links to come.
      * Speakers to be announced; lectures to be held on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays.

    • One-on-One Mentorship
      Optional mentorship sessions are available by request and scheduled directly with the instructors.
