Courses for everyone 3
Blockchain is an emerging technology that enables the transfer and storage of information in a secure and fast way. Considered by employers as the top in-demand hard skill of 2020, blockchain technology is rapidly becoming an important tool for innovation, business development, finance, supply chain management, critical infrastructure security, and other areas.
Designed for learners with no prior knowledge of blockchain, the Blockchain Fundamentals Microcredential is the first program of its kind in Alberta. You will learn about blockchain’s massive disruptive potential, identify and evaluate blockchain technology opportunities, and examine the available platforms, associated technologies, languages, and issues related to security. Each course will also provide you with access to blockchain guest lectures, blockchain groups, and networking with industry experts.
This program will be of special interest to corporate executives, financial services specialists, product managers, supply chain specialists, database administrators, engineers, architects, computer scientists, and entrepreneurs, among others.
The Blockchain Fundamentals Microcredential is offered in partnership with The Blockchain Academy (TBA), an American organization composed of long-standing industry leaders focused entirely on blockchain education who are also founding members of the Blockchain Certification Association.
