How to Apply to a Program

Only the students who formally apply for admission to their selected program offered by Online and Continuing Education will be eligible to graduate.

To complete a program offered by Online and Continuing Education, you must submit a completed Application for Program Admission form and provide any related documentation required for that program.

    • Enables you to receive the formal credential (certificate, citation, etc.)
    • Application processing fee: $100
      — fee is waived for UAlberta Alumni & Associate Alumni: mention your status on the application form to receive this exemption.

    What if I don't meet the admission requirements?

    You are still invited to apply for program admission on a provisional basis. This is a temporary classification which requires the student to complete their first two graded courses and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. Students who do not meet the provisional admission requirements after their second course should contact their program advisor.
