Ruby on Rails is a model¿view¿controller frame­work, pro­vid­ing default struc­tures for a data­base, a web ser­vice, and web pages. Build­ing upon your exist­ing knowl­edge of Ruby, you will learn how to make web appli­ca­tions using the Ruby on Rails frame­work with an SQL data­base. Top­ics include cre­at­ing and con­fig­ur­ing a Ruby on Rails project, using RubyGems, Views and ERB (Embed­ded RuBy), data in Rails projects, CRUDE, and Forms. Pre­req­ui­site EXSM 3937 and EXSM 3961
