Python Fundamentals

Python is an inter­pret­ed, high-lev­el and gen­er­al-pur­pose pro­gram­ming lan­guage that can auto­mate spe­cif­ic series of tasks, mak­ing it more effi­cient. It is often used in soft­ware appli­ca­tions, pages with­in a web brows­er, and the shells of oper­at­ing sys­tems. In this course stu­dents will learn pro­gram­ming fun­da­men­tals, and the basics of devel­op­ing and run­ning soft­ware writ­ten in Python. Pre­req­ui­site EXSM 3935

This course combines 16 hours of live online sessions with 24 hours of modules/activities to be completed by the student, for a total of 40 hours.
