Leadership Communications

Lead­er­ship at all lev­els depends upon com­mu­ni­ca­tion. Top­ics may include: per­sua­sive com­mu­ni­ca­tion; gen­er­at­ing buy-in; inter­nal and exter­nal com­mu­ni­ca­tions strate­gies; influ­ence and influ­enc­ing oth­ers; and com­mu­ni­cat­ing through conflict.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Connect the concepts of leadership and communication.
  • Implement strategies for persuasion and influence.
  • Select and design effective leadership documents and other media.
  • Implement communication strategies for effective teams and meetings.
  • Implement leadership communication strategies for organizational, transformational, and external audiences.
  • Plan leadership communication strategies.
  • Plan for and make presentations.

Students from all educational backgrounds welcome. You can register for this course without applying and enrolling in a program.
