German III

Expand your Ger­man lan­guage skills in this course that uses a task-based, com­mu­nica­tive approach to explore inter­ac­tions com­mon to sit­u­a­tions from every­day life. Prac­tice con­ver­sa­tion­al top­ics such as pub­lic tran­sit and mobil­i­ty, media, work life, tra­di­tions, lit­er­a­ture, and more. Dis­cuss the cul­ture of Ger­man-speak­ing coun­tries, learn more about the past tense, and under­stand pro­nun­ci­a­tion rules, col­lo­ca­tions, reflex­ive verbs, sub­or­di­nate claus­es, and the use of the gen­i­tive case. Ger­man III cov­ers lev­el A2.1 of the Euro­pean CEFR-scale. Com­ple­tion of EXGEN 3398 or equiv­a­lent is strong­ly recommended.
