Managing Risk Within Your Organization
This course is for individuals looking inside their organization to identify, manage, and prevent organizational risks while maximizing opportunities those risks my present. Topics covered will include: Organizational culture, human resources risks, crime, physical property and business continuity. At the conclusion of this course, you will have an understanding and discussion about risk, key concepts and tools and selected risk topics.
What you will learn
- Understand and communicate key concepts in risk management terminology, frameworks and tools
- Understand, analyze, manage and communicate operational risks associated with:
- organizational culture
- human resources
- crime
- physical and intellectual property
- records and privacy
- business continuity and crisis management
- Understand and communicate competing risks to manage organizational priorities and risks
- Understand the role that frontline leadership plays in the risk management process; as a value add to the organization to reduce or prevent unsatisfactory outcomes and maximize opportunity
This course has no prerequisites
Students from all educational backgrounds welcome. You can register for this course without applying and enrolling in a program.
