Trenchless Technologies 101

From the indus­tri­al sec­tor and the oil and gas indus­try, to con­struc­tion and telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions; trench­less tech­nolo­gies are rapid­ly becom­ing a fun­da­men­tal com­po­nent of con­struc­tion projects. Trench­less tech­nolo­gies 101 will pro­vide an intro­duc­tion to the con­cept of, and tech­nolo­gies behind, trench­less inno­va­tions. It will present par­tic­i­pants with the oppor­tu­ni­ty to dis­cov­er why new trench­less designs are at the fore­front of today’s con­struc­tion needs.

What you will learn

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Understand the significance of using trenchless technologies versus traditional open-cut methods.
  • Identify different techniques for installation and rehabilitation.
  • Recognize various geotechnical considerations within trenchless construction.
