Trenchless Technologies 101

From the industrial sector and the oil and gas industry, to construction and telecommunications; trenchless technologies are rapidly becoming a fundamental component of construction projects. Trenchless technologies 101 will provide an introduction to the concept of, and technologies behind, trenchless innovations. It will present participants with the opportunity to discover why new trenchless designs are at the forefront of today’s construction needs.
Course at a glance

- Offered in collaboration with the Consortium for Engineered Trenchless Technologies (CETT) and the Faculty of Engineering, University of Alberta.
- Aimed at construction professionals and engineers, as well as managers, project managers, supervisors, and business owners in related areas.
What you will learn
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Understand the significance of using trenchless technologies versus traditional open-cut methods.
- Identify different techniques for installation and rehabilitation.
- Recognize various geotechnical considerations within trenchless construction.
