Japanese Art and Culture
With a history that spans about 30,000 years, Japan has developed a complex and unique culture. Discover the ethos of harmony and elegance in Japanese culture through exploring calligraphy, origami, and ikebana — the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Become familiar with the structure and intricacies of the Japanese tea ceremony, including the prescribed gestures and phrases expected of guests and the proper way to make tea.
