German IV
Using a communicative approach to learning, we will practice our German using situations from everyday life. You should be comfortable carrying on basic conversations. The following conversational topics will be covered: shopping, giving and receiving gifts, invitations, the German geography, language, culture, and people (biographies). Learn to use the dative, comparatives and superlatives, and demonstrative pronouns. The genitive is introduced. We will cover Chapters 9 and 10 in Themen 1 aktuell, Lektion 6 – 10. The course allows for some additional topics and Internet use. The language of instruction is German. Completion of EXGEN 3399 is strongly recommended.
This course has no prerequisites
Students from all educational backgrounds welcome. You can register for this course without applying and enrolling in a program.
