Learn how to avoid cost­ly and embar­rass­ing errors by sharp­en­ing your proof­read­ing skills. A Prac­ti­cal Guide to Proof­read­ing cov­ers proof­read­ing marks, com­par­ing copies, the errors to look for when proof­read­ing, and the dif­fer­ences between proof­read­ing and edit­ing. A vari­ety of exer­cis­es will help you learn to avoid com­mon proof­read­ing errors.

In synchronous online courses, students move through the course material at the same pace as their peers. Roula SalamID: roula-salam

Roula Salam has been with the English Language School since 2012, developing curricula and teaching a variety of courses to undergraduate and graduate students. Roula has mentored and provided feedback to student teachers of ESL at the U of A, as well as provided intercultural training workshops for summer cohorts and visiting professors. She is currently the president of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta, and a regulated immigration consultant (RCIC).
