Grammar for Effective Communication

This course helps upper-lev­el stu­dents to devel­op their gram­mar skills in Eng­lish. Stu­dents will learn, prac­tice, apply, and review com­mon gram­mar items that are typ­i­cal­ly chal­leng­ing for Eng­lish lan­guage learn­ers. Stu­dents will devel­op an under­stand­ing of gram­mar rules, appli­ca­tions, and strate­gies that will help them write with pre­ci­sion and clar­i­ty in cur­rent and future aca­d­e­m­ic writ­ing tasks. This course may be rec­om­mend­ed to stu­dents of EAP 140 and EAP 145.
