Construction Drawings and Specifications Fundamentals

This inter­ac­tive sem­i­nar will help you under­stand and inter­pret con­struc­tion draw­ings and project spec­i­fi­ca­tions. Acquire new skills and learn how to apply them to read, inter­pret, and extrap­o­late infor­ma­tion from plans, ele­va­tions, sec­tions, and details con­tained in con­struc­tion draw­ings. Dis­cuss stan­dard CCA and CCDC doc­u­ments used at var­i­ous stages of pre-bid and con­struc­tion. Under­stand the impacts of asso­ci­at­ed respon­si­bil­i­ties, includ­ing risk man­age­ment aris­ing from bid­ding pro­ce­dures, as well as the role of con­tract con­di­tions and gen­er­al requirements.
