A Coaching Approach to Leadership

The 21^st-cen­tu­ry work­place relies on the lead­er­ship abil­i­ties of every work­er to advance the mis­sion of the orga­ni­za­tion. In this con­text, the ​‘coach approach’ is a trans­for­ma­tion­al lead­er­ship prac­tice. This course will teach you how the coach­ing skills of deep lis­ten­ing, pow­er­ful ques­tion­ing, and pos­si­bil­i­ty think­ing can trans­form your lead­er­ship prac­tice from man­ag­ing per­for­mance to encour­ag­ing growth. You will expe­ri­ence coach­ing in tri­ads and with pro­fes­sion­al cer­ti­fied coach­es, as you become famil­iar with coach­ing modal­i­ties and devel­op your own leader-as-coach methodology.
