Environmental Impact Assessments

The Envi­ron­men­tal Impact Assess­ment process from ini­ti­a­tion to project com­mis­sion­ing. Cov­ers assess­ment approach­es under Alber­ta and Cana­di­an leg­is­la­tion and reg­u­la­tions includ­ing the EIAs role in a major project, how to com­plete a cumu­la­tive envi­ron­men­tal assess­ment, address­ing approval con­di­tions, and use of the EIA a tool for envi­ron­men­tal man­age­ment. Require­ments for pub­lic and Indige­nous con­sul­ta­tion, gath­er­ing stake­hold­er input into the EIA process, and expect­ed out­comes will be outlined.
