What you will learn
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Describe the key aspects of hazard identification and hazard management.
- Define what an emergency is.
- Recall the legal requirements to have emergency plans
- Identify specific items that must be incorporated into emergency plans.

- Required Course Materials: Please go to the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) website and purchase the Emergency Response Planning Guide book if you do not already own it. Students will need to set up an account to purchase the book.
